The exhibition is situated outside in the museum’s courtyard and tells of the sporting achievements of Norwegian Jews.

It is produced by Jewish Museum Oslo, who describe the exhibition like this:

The exhibition “Go Jews!”gives an introduction to how the Jewish immigrants who settled in Norway embraced Norwegian nature and Norwegian outdoor activities. We then also highlight many of those who became active athletes. Even though the Jews in Norway were such a small minority, they came to take part in lots of different sports, often placing well.

Jewish sporting achievements in Norway is not well known, and the exhibition gives us an insight into both “the winners” and of the breadth of Norwegian Jews’ sports participation from the 1900s until the present day. Our time is represented by famous names such as ice hockey goalie Jørn Goldstein and the internationally renowned golf player Suzann Pettersen.
